Exploring our environment

Rendcomb College is situated in the heart of the Cotswolds, surrounded by beautiful woodland and wildlife. The College comprises 230 acres of parkland, boasting a Deer Park which is home to 75 fallow deer. Onsite we also have a forest school which allows pupils to explore the surrounding woodland and learn important outdoor skills.

Rendcomb College is located within 30 minutes of Cheltenham, and Gloucester, with Cirencester town just under 15 minutes away by car.  This makes surrounding areas very easily accessible and allows us to offer pupils enriching excursions around the Cotswolds. Bicester and Oxford are also easily accessible, located approximately 60 minutes away from Rendcomb.

Growing in the Cotswolds

Here at Rendcomb College we believe that being surrounded by nature and having access to activities/sports is important for happy and healthy development. Our sports pitch and Astro turf onsite are accessible to all students, running sports such as Lacrosse, Netball, and Rugby. The college also frequently takes part in equestrian competitions at Rectory Farm Arena which is in the Cirencester area, about 15 minutes form Rendcomb.

Being based in the Cotswolds, pupils can enjoy the advantage of having easy access to sports, outdoor activities, and excursions, which encourage growth. The aim of getting the pupils involved in nature based activities is to support them in becoming well rounded individuals, which is a fundamental part of the Rendcomb College ethos.
