Our termly fees from September 2024 are as follows. Please note, there are three terms per academic year.

From January 2025, VAT at the prevailing rate will apply to all our school fees. A consequence of this is that any registration fees paid from 30th October 2024 will also attract VAT.

Public examination - GCSE, A Level and BTEC courses

Individual GCSE, A Level and BTEC examinations will incur additional costs. The cost of each examination varies; for an accurate cost, please contact Mr Cox, Deputy Head (Academic).

Occasional/Flexi boarding options

Occasional Boarding

Occasional Boarding is for day pupils who wish to stay overnight on an ad hoc basis on just a few nights per term. For example, after a school concert or to join in with a boarder’s birthday party. The Houseparents will be as accommodating as possible, although Occasional Boarding is subject to availability.

We are unable to guarantee the same bed each night for Occasional Boarders, however, this option provides families with the opportunity to book last-minute stays at school providing greater flexibility.

The cost: 

• £48.00 per night* for pupils in Year 7, 8 and 9 up to 8 nights per term
• £60 per night* for pupils in Year 10, 11, 12 and 13 up to 8 nights per term

Once a pupil has accrued 8 nights in a term, the cost will be £65 per night* for all year groups.

Flexi Boarding

Families can pre-select specific night(s) each week to board across an entire term. These nights must be booked in advance of the start of each term. Wherever possible, we will allocate the same bed space, however, it will not be possible for personal items to be left at school when the pupil is not boarding.

Flexi Boarding must be a fixed number of nights per week but nights do not have to be consecutive (for example, a two-night stay might be Monday and Thursday). In the event of a shortage of space, priority will be given to those booking greater numbers of nights. Once booked, the nights are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please note that the Flexi Boarding option is not available to pupils whose parents do not reside in the UK.

The cost (per term) effective September 2024:

Sibling Discount

A sibling discount is awarded for three or more children in the school at any one time:

• 2nd child – 5%
• 3rd child – 15%
• 4th or subsequent children – 15%

Loyalty Discount

If a child joins Rendcomb College Junior School in Year 4 (J4) or earlier and continues through to the Senior School, we offer a loyalty discount of 10% of the annual school fees for the Senior School up to year 11.

30 Hours Free Childcare

Rendcomb College offers 30 hours of free childcare for children aged 3 and 4 in Nursery and Reception as part of the Government scheme. Nursery fee bills are sent at the end of each term. Reception fee bills are sent in advance with parents' accounts credited in arrears once the school receives the funding from the Government during the term.

Please note that fees from Reception onwards are charged and are payable in advance, however the government funding is received in arrears and will be credited against the next term's fees depending on eligibility.
