Rendcomb College has benefitted from the stewardship of the Wills family for almost a century and from the two-tiered Governance of the Trustees and Governing Body. The Governors are committed to the charitable and educational purposes of the School and bring wide-ranging experience to the management and future development of the College.

| Chairman - Nicholas Ford |
|
Nicholas is a Land Agent who was until recently the CEO of The Ernest Cook Trust, a national land-owning educational charity; he has a special interest in outdoor education.
Nicholas lives locally; he enjoys everything to do with the countryside.

| Deputy Chair - Mrs Prue Hornby |
| Prue ran her own management and sales training company, worked as a HR director and worked as a specialist in organisational behaviour. She has been a Governor of Rendcomb since 1998. |
| Mrs Emilie Darwin |
|
Emilie is Deputy CEO of IAPS, working with heads of independent prep schools all over the country. She is a non-practising solicitor, having spent 15 years in the education team at HCR Law.
Emilie lives in Cheltenham with her husband and two daughters.

| Mrs Sara Arkle |
| Sara has taught at a large Oxford school having roles as a faculty leader and Pastoral Head of a Sixth Form year. Sara is currently doing some teaching, A Level examining and has trained as an Ofsted Inspector. |
| Mr Tony Marchand |
| Tony is recently retired Deputy Head Academic of Dean Close School, Cheltenham. He spent six years as an ISI Schools’ Inspector as part of his role. His interests include golf, rugby, music, theatre and walking. |
| Mrs Naomi Nettleton |
|
Naomi is a Partner in the Real Estate team at Charles Russell Speechlys LLP. After studying Philosophy at Durham followed by a law conversion in Oxford, Naomi spent 8 and a half years at the city firm, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. She was seconded as the senior venues lawyer for the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Limited.
She was brought up in Ampney Crucis and now lives near Rendcomb with husband (Jonathan) who is an architect, two children (one of whom is a current pupil) and a working cocker spaniel.
Naomi is a keen singer and currently part of the St Cecilia Singers (Gloucester Cathedral).

| Mrs Imogen Ormerod |
| Growing up locally, Imogen has known Rendcomb all her life. A great-granddaughter of the founder, Imogen is extremely proud of Rendcomb's achievements and ethos and is looking forward to being involved in its future - both as a Governor and parent. After reading History at the London School of Economics, Imogen worked initially in London before joining the Civil Service. She has worked both in the UK and abroad, including for the EU in Brussels and, more recently, for a Middle Eastern bank in Egypt and Jordan. Now back in the UK, she is working for the Home Office. Imogen lives in Gloucestershire with her husband and three young children. She enjoys reading and walking in her spare time. |
| Mr Shaun Parsons |
|
Shaun has been closely involved with life in Gloucestershire since moving to the county from Scotland in 1947. For many years he served with the Royal Worcestershire Hussars and since retirement has been a county councillor with a particular interest in the welfare of disadvantaged and disabled children. He is currently Chairman of the National Star College. By training he is a Chartered Accountant and has worked in industry, banking and financial services industries.
Mr Parsons is also a Trustee.

| Mr Henry Robinson |
|
Henry is a local farmer with a lifelong commitment to agriculture, estate management and all things rural. His interests include falconry, fishing, rambler roses and photography.
Mr Robinson is also Chair of Trustees.

| Mrs Linnie Singer |
|
Linnie is an army wife with four children. She retired from farming in 2006. As the granddaughter of the founder she has known Rendcomb for 60 years.
Mrs Singer is also a Trustee.

| Major-General Peter Williams CMG OBE |
|
After studying History at Cambridge University, Peter spent more than 30 years in the British Army, serving in Oman, Northern Ireland and Germany. A Cold War intelligence specialist, he studied Russian and German and went on to command UN peacekeeping in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Retired from the Army in 2005, he enjoys speaking about the Cold War and helping to train British diplomats. Peter was appointed Governor in January 2011.

| Mr Richard Wills |
|
Richard Wills has been a Governor since 2000. He has four children, two of which are at Rendcomb. He takes a keen interest in education, art and sport and farms in the Cotswolds.
Mr Wills is also a Trustee.
